A plot of Earth, what a wonderful thing to be given. Our Earth is a finite resource. We dig it up, we dredge it, we fill it’s holes, we flood it, we move it, we improve it.
What I would do with my plot is to improve it. I would create a garden that would be a pleasure to all the senses.
The colours of the plants and trees would astound.
The smell of the blooms would be fragrant.
The taste of the planted produce would feed and nourish.
The touch of the leaves, bark, stems, grasses, rocks and stones would be pleasurable.
The sound of the wind through the trees and the water flowing over waterfalls and along creek beds would calm.
The garden would also be a haven for all the fish, insects, animals and birds.
Have I visited such a place to be an inspiration for this place? Yes, the Chinese Gardens in Sydney and the Butchart Gardens in B.C
This is my response to Daily Prompt: A Plot of Earth.
